Chibok girls: President Jonathan should lead us to Sambisa forest – Danjuma


Chairman of the Victims Support Fund, Lt. Gen.
Theophilus Danjuma (retd.), yesterday called on
President Goodluck Jonathan to join the
committee that would visit Sambisa to help
rescue the Chibok girls.
The former Minister of Defence, made this
assertion while responding to Jonathan’s
inauguration speech in which he urged members
of the committee to be prepare to visit all parts
of the country, including the feared Sambisa
forest to bring back the girls.
“Mr. President, we won’t go to Sambisa Forest.
As the Commander-in-Chief, you should take the
lead and we will follow,” he said amid laughter.
Similarly, the National Security Adviser, Col.
Sambo Dasuki (retd.), agreed with Danjuma that
the Federal Government should wake up and
tackle the insecurity situation the country.
“We have realised that the time has come to draw
the line. We will win the war and do so quickly,”
he assured.
